Please join us this Saturday, June 14th, for a NEW, very special Second Saturday! Collingswood is the home of 6 wonderful ARTS & CRAFTS & MUSIC venues, where the whole family can enjoy the best in arts, craft and music classes, workshops, activities and special events. No other town can boast of so many fabulous places for creative family fun, where you can explore and express just about any artistic and/or musical urge.... from jewelry and glass bead-making, to clay wheel throwing and hand-building, to needle pointing, painting your own pottery, mosaics, art classes, music lessons, and MUCH MORE!

Starting this Saturday at 1:00 pm, bring your family, visit each venue, watch fabulous special demonstrations, or try your hand at some new techniques. (Please note that Perkins will not open until 6 pm... so don't forget to visit their wonderful facility during the usual 2nd Saturday hours of 6:00 - 9:00 pm!) The all day music, arts & crafts Second Saturday participants include:

All Fired Up!  602 Haddon Avenue - Demonstrations will be starting at 1 p.m.  Demos include how to make keepsakes, tie dye a plate, glass fusing, stamping on pottery, and mosaics.

Collingswood Music   817 Haddon Avenue - Opening at 1 pm for tours, information and prizes. Special demonstrations starting at 6 pm. Banjo demonstrations by teacher Jay Sills, followed by a student recital. Singer/songwriter Dan Zimmerman.  Music by the Hollanders, a local folk duo.

House of Clay  644 Atlantic Ave - Hands-on clay studio, teaching hand building and wheel throwing for ages 3 yrs to adults. Demonstrations, (2:00 to 8:00 pm), include wheel throwing and various hand-building techniques, such as coil pots and slab building.

Jubili Beads & Yarns®  713 Haddon Avenue - Demonstrations from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, including beaded jewelry-making techniques, flame work glass bead-making, hand bead weaving, loom bead weaving, wire wrapped jewelry. Try your hand at knitting, crocheting and other needle/fiber art demonstrations.

The Needlepoint Boutique  807 Haddon Avenue - Learn a new needlepoint stitch every hour on the hour from 11 am to 8 pm. (That's 10 new stitches in one day!)

Join in the fun of our very first TREASURE HUNT, by downloading your special Crafter's Second Saturday Treasure Map! Start anywhere, then follow the path to explore all of the wonderful businesses shown on the map. While visiting each business, make sure you have them stamp your map at their spot on the Treasure Map. Once you're at the final destination on your map, present your map to this last business, where you'll be eligible to win their great prizes!  Remember, you must have every stop on the map stamped to be eligible for the special prizes that await the lucky winners!  Check out some other prizes or coupons that may be available at the businesses along the Treasure Hunt map!
