Jubili & The Susan G. Komen Foundation

We've have an official agreement with the Central and South Jersey Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a national organization well-known for its fabulous support of the fight against breast cancer, as one of their business supporters.  Just go to the menu on our online SHOP, click on Specialty Jewelry/Breast Cancer Awareness or click here to view our jewelry. We'll donate 10% of the profits directly to the affiliate, to do our part in trying to help this very worthy cause!  If any of your are interested in adding your name to the working volunteer's list of the affiliate, please e mail Monica Smith, Director of Development, at msmith@komencsnj.org, and tell her you're a Jubili customer.

PLEASE JOIN US the week-end before Mother's Day, (which is Sunday, June 9, 2010),on Saturday & Sunday, June 1st & 2nd, 2010, for our First Annual "Pink for Moms" Breast Cancer Donation Week-end.  Bring your mom, your grandmom, your aunts, cousins, friends, daughters....and make any one of our specialty bracelets, and/or participate in our "round up" program.  We will donate 10% of the profits from all of the above to the Central & South Jersey Susan G. Komen Affiliate.  Everyone has been touched by breast cancer in some way, and what is better than Mother's Day so help us fight the fight! (My beloved mom, Eleanor, was a 16 year survivor, but passed away from the complications of two rounds of chemotherapy).   We look forward to seeing you then!

Weave for Fun Week-end!

If you've ever thought about learning how to weave, this is the week-end for you! With our own Mindy Juntti at the helm,
(Mindy has a BFA in Crafts from the University of the Arts, with a concentration in "Fibers & Mixed Media", including weaving) and other Jubili staff, we'll have several harness looms, Inkle looms, and easy-to-make tapestry-type looms, and Macramé Board loom projects already warped, and ready-to-weave! Watch our FREE DEMOS, or rent some time, buy the materials or buy a kit, and have fun weaving something yourself! You'll have the choice of weaving a simple wall hanging, a simple bookmark, a pendant, or for those with some hours to spend, a small place mat.
